La Jolla High School is the #1 comprehensive high school in San Diego for a reason – the staff and faculty are committed to providing educational experiences that will support the highest level of college and career readiness. This is evident in the outstanding colleges that LJHS students are accepted into, as well as the school spirit that our students exhibit.

Whether we are on campus or learning from a distance, LJHS is committed to delivering an enriching experience that will prepare your child for a successful future. We want to assure you that the staff and faculty of La Jolla High, the student representatives of the Associated Student Body (ASB) and PTSA, as well as countless parent volunteers are all working to ensure that students feels welcomed and an integral part of the La Jolla High family.

For questions regarding a particular course please contact the teacher directly. For further information, please reach out to LJHS's Associate Principals Joe Cavaiola (10th & 12th grades) and Cindy Ueckert (9th and 11th grades). Click here for teacher and faculty emails.

Information on a student's schedule, attendance or grades can be accessed via the PowerSchool Parent Portal.

Please ensure your correct contact information is maintained by the school.

The PTSA's role is to advocate for the best education and social experience possible for LJHS students, and the most effective way to achieve that is through collaboration with students, parents, teachers, and school administrative staff. Joining the PTSA provides a forum for you to advocate on issues that directly impact your child and affect change

Please consider joining the PTSA, the LJHS Foundation or a school committee.
